Albums

The very best way to archive your wedding photographs is with a wedding album of the highest quality, which will stand the test of time. Digital files are great but technology is constantly changing and who knows what it will be like thirty years from now.

An album is a thoughtful narrative of your entire wedding day presented in a very tangible way. It is something to hold in your hands while you sit on the couch with your kids and retell the events of your wedding day. No wedding photography experience is complete without one, which is why we include one with every collection

Each album designed and delivered by Shanon-May Photography is custom and one of kind, just for you. Our albums are the highest quality and made to last.

 Additional albums, parent albums, and photo guest books can be added to any collection, beginning at $600.

Day-to-day tasks are described for all levels of buying within a variety of fashion retail businesses and sectors. Role of the merchandiser Key responsibilities of the merchandiser and allocator within the retail organization, key skills required, and objectives of the role Seasonal Calendars Selecting the assortment for a season, constants, variable and seasonal calculations. Trend Analysis Trend analysis is examined to establish how buyers know what to buy. Range Planning An exploration of the creative aspects of range planning required to create a balanced and commercial range. A practical task is set to bring range planning processes to life. Sourcing Examines strategic sourcing. PESTLE analysis, current issues affecting sourcing. Margin & Mark-up Calculating a selling price, margin principles, mark-ups, hidden costs and margin improvement. Product Development Includes discussion of the buying cycles, buying trips, competitor analysis, critical path management, buyers packs, quality control and lead times. Promotions & Markdowns Planning and forecasting markdowns, calculating a markdown and estimating the effectiveness of a markdown. Buying Strategy Tools for making effective buying decisions and driving sales.




STUDY OVERSEAS


Students have opportunities to pursue advanced level courses across Europe & the FAD Dubai Campus. Students are assisted on the formalities including the visas by our team. Students are assisted on the admissions, visas, pre & post departure formalities through the overseas education department at FAD. For further details contact the admissions department at FAD.




ONGOING INTERNSHIPS


Students receive ongoing opportunities to intern with industry on live projects and enagements. FAD enjoys unparalleled industry support both through independent professionals and organizations and works on various industry initiatives through the year. Internships & placements are regularly posted on the FAD Students Union exclusive to our students on the course.




COURSE OVERVIEW


This course will enable individuals to identify, select and pursue their career opportunities in the retail industry. This practical course aims to give participants a solid understanding of the key elements of buying and how buying and merchandising work together to ensure business success. The course factors in a combination of industry exposure, practical activities, lectures, individual and group presentations. Taught in small groups, the course allows close interaction with the mentors. Individuals also discuss their personal objectives on the course to get professional guidance on post study plans. The course is taught in the evenings to allow working professionals & students to attend. The FAD team also offers on-going post study support, answering all business & fashion related queries. We provide professional advice regarding website development & business marketing, helping to create excellent visibility for your business or mentor you for growth in the fast growing retail fashion industry.
