About the image:
Inspired by Jamie Beck's #isolationcreation project, during our this time of quarantine I have begun to experiment with still life photography. Using what I had on hand, this image includes my maternal grandmother's table linen, my paternal grandmother's teacups, the teapot and cake stand that I was given as a wedding gift, and one delicious homemade coconut cream pie. This image also features a china cream and sugar set I inherited from a dear family friend and the little bird knickknacks that my best friend gave out at her wedding. In many ways, this image represents so some of the most important women in the my life, whom I'd love to be sharing afternoon tea with right now.
I have used some simple watercolor techniques in photoshop to enhance the image.
