When my good friend and colleague Sarah and her husband bought their farm property three years ago Sarah reimagined the 150 year old historic barn as a wedding venue. As her dream of opening her own wedding venue here in the Charlotte Coastal Region of Southern New Brunswick began to take shape, she put pen to action and planned out an inspiration wedding shoot inspired by the moody tones of Dutch Still Life paintings and warmth of the barn’s wood interior. I had the privilege of photographing it all this past June, on the eve of Ticklebelly Hill’s grand opening.
Together with an incredibly talented and dedicated team of artists and wedding professionals, Sarah pulled off this breath-taking inspiration shoot, and this past weekend our work was featured on Artfully Wed. It is always such a great honour to have my photographs appreciated and published by the larger wedding industry. The best thing is when I get to share the honour with my local colleagues and to see their work showcased to inspired others.
